- High schools: 10:49 a.m.
- Elementary schools: 11:32 a.m.
- Kakiat STEAM Academy, grades 4–8: 11:32 a.m.
- Middle schools: 12:32 p.m.
- After school: all district after-school activities and athletics were canceled for October 5.

Why the schedule changed
East Ramapo said it expected heavy traffic around a large community gathering and asked families to plan for possible delays traveling to and from its schools. The public alert did not name the gathering or publish a road-closure map, so this archive does not infer either one.
One group remains on its regular schedule
The district said students in other out-of-district placement programs would operate on their regular schedule. That exception is preserved here as part of the October 5 record.
