Why the company recalled the mixes
The FDA-posted company announcement says plantain flour used in the products tested significantly above the federal limit of 20 parts per million for food labeled gluten-free. GF Blends said it was conducting further tests to determine whether the gluten was wheat gluten.
That distinction matters: the available record confirms an above-threshold gluten result, but it does not confirm that wheat gluten had been identified. This guide does not turn the company's ongoing testing into a completed finding.
One package-size field is incomplete
FDA's table lists the size for EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R lot 260803 only as “163,” without a unit. The Rockland Edit is preserving that gap rather than assuming it means 163 grams. Use the lot and best-by date together, compare the official product photos and contact GF Blends if the package remains unclear.
Return or discard an exact match
The announcement tells people with celiac disease or severe intolerance to wheat gluten not to consume a match and to return it for a refund or discard it. GF Blends says it notified customers directly and offered replacements.

Online availability is confirmed; a Rockland order is not
GF Blends says the products were distributed nationwide through Amazon, eatgangster.com and trulyaip.com through September 12. That creates a concrete pantry check for Rockland residents who ordered either brand online, but it does not establish a Rockland order, package, reaction or illness.
The company reported no adverse health reports as of September 17. That timestamp is not evidence that a matching product is safe to eat.
