Stop using it. One lot of Rapture pre-workout is recalled for DMAA.

Leader Formulas recalled three flavors from one Rapture Pre-Workout lot sold nationwide in stores and online. Check the flavor, UPC and lot together; stop using an exact match and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

DMAA can raise blood pressure and create cardiovascular risk

The FDA-posted announcement says testing found 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, or DMAA, in the recalled product. Using DMAA can raise blood pressure and may lead to cardiovascular problems including heart attack, shortness of breath and tightening of the chest.

The company said it had received no reports of adverse events related to this recall when the notice was issued. Anyone who experienced a problem that may be related to the product should contact a physician or healthcare provider.

Nationwide retail and online sales create a possible Rockland path

The affected product was distributed nationwide to retailers and through Leader Formulas’ website ↗ from January 29, 2025, through May 25, 2026. That makes a Rockland purchase possible, but the public notice does not identify a Rockland store, buyer or adverse event.

The recall is narrow: one lot in the three flavor-and-UPC combinations above. It does not cover every Rapture product or every pre-workout supplement.

Before returning a match

1. Photograph the flavor, UPC and lot so all three identifiers are preserved.
2. Stop using the product; do not give it away or transfer it to someone else.
3. Return the container to the place of purchase for a full refund.
4. Report an adverse reaction or quality problem through FDA MedWatch ↗.
