SERVICE UPDATE — HEALTH ACCESS

Pomona's vaccine clinic is Friday. Flu is confirmed; call first for MMR.

Rockland County lists a clinic at the Yeager Health Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, November 6. Its records agree on flu vaccination but not on MMR. If MMR is the reason for your trip, call the Health Department at 845-364-2534 before leaving.

Plan the visit

  • When: Friday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Dr. Robert L. Yeager Health Center, Building A, Exhibition Hall, 50 Sanatorium Road, Pomona.
  • Flu: both County records list flu vaccination for people age 6 months and older, including high-dose vaccine for people 65 and older.
  • MMR: the event record says it will be available, but the Health Department announcement lists only flu. Call 845-364-2534 before traveling specifically for MMR.
  • Registration: the County says no advance registration; register onsite.
  • Insurance: bring your insurance card if you have Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. The County says vaccination is free for uninsured and underinsured residents.

What the County records agree on

The Health Department's September 10 announcement and the current November 6 event record agree on the Friday date, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. hours, Building A Exhibition Hall location and flu vaccination. They also describe flu vaccine for people age 6 months and older and a high-dose version for those 65 and older.

Why MMR needs a phone check

The current event record calls the stop a “Flu & Measles (MMR) Clinic” and says MMR vaccine will be available at no cost to non-immune residents age 6 months and older. The Health Department's announcement, however, lists flu only for November 6.

Those official descriptions cannot be treated as one undisputed menu. The Rockland Edit has not independently confirmed MMR inventory, individual eligibility or administration. Neither record lists RSV, pneumonia or tetanus vaccine for this stop.

What this guide cannot promise

The postings do not guarantee supply, wait time, accommodation availability or that a particular person will receive a vaccine. For personal questions about which vaccine you need or when to receive it, speak with a healthcare provider. For same-day clinic details, call the County before traveling.

What changes for a resident: Friday's 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Pomona window is a confirmed flu-vaccination opportunity; anyone making the trip specifically for MMR should call 845-364-2534 first because the County's current records disagree.

Primary records checked November 2, 2026, at 6:50 a.m. EST: the Rockland County Health Department's September 10 countywide clinic announcement ↗, the County's November 6 Pomona event record ↗ and its clinics and immunizations index ↗. The announcement lists flu only; the event record lists flu and MMR. This guide preserves that conflict and does not establish inventory, attendance, wait time, administration or individual eligibility.
