Rockland's Spanish voting pages contain date and name errors. Here's what to use.
Early voting and the final in-person ballot-request window have ended. The verified calendar lists no later route to request a new ballot. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the voter's assigned poll site. A completed mail ballot may still be returned under the rules below. The County's Spanish pages require cross-checking against the official sample ballot.
November 2 service handoff: the Board's 5 p.m. in-person request window has closed. The reviewed official calendar lists no later route to request a new ballot for this election. Voters who do not already have a ballot must use their assigned Election Day poll site Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The original Spanish flyer and candidate pages were not re-audited for this service update, so it does not establish whether the County has corrected or replaced them.
Election Day and mail-ballot return: what remains
The in-person request route closed at 5 p.m. Monday. The reviewed official records do not list another way to request a new ballot for this election. The remaining routes are Election Day voting or returning a completed mail ballot.
- Vote in person Tuesday: Election Day polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Use your assigned poll site—not any former early-voting center—unless the Board has notified you of a temporary change.
- Return a completed mail ballot: hand-deliver it to the County Board of Elections or any Rockland County poll site by 9 p.m. Tuesday.
- If mailing a ballot: it must be postmarked no later than November 3 and received by the County Board by November 10. Check the last pickup time or ask for a manual postmark rather than assuming a late deposit will receive the needed date.
- Check your record: use the State voter lookup and sample-ballot tool ↗ for registration and poll-site information, or the State ballot tracker ↗ if you already requested a mail ballot.
The Rockland Edit cannot see, complete or confirm a voter's transaction, and the published deadlines do not promise that an incomplete request can be fixed instantly. If timing matters, call the Rockland County Board of Elections at 845-638-5172 before traveling.
The October 27 military and overseas application date needs a status check
New York's 2026 political calendar says October 27 is the last day for a county board to receive a general-election ballot application from an already-registered military, special federal or UOCAVA voter. The deadline for someone in those categories who was not already registered was October 24.
- Use the correct application: New York directs military and overseas voters to the Federal Post Card Application route ↗. The State's ordinary early-mail form says not to use that form for military or overseas voting.
- Get current instructions: the State's military and overseas ballot portal ↗ supports applications, ballot access and tracking. The published calendar gives a date, not a clock time, and the County's October 27 extended office hours ended at 8 p.m. The Rockland Edit cannot establish that a later submission counts as received; contact the Board at 845-638-5172 for status.
- Know the return rule: a voter may choose mail, fax or email delivery of voting materials on the application, but New York says a completed ballot must be returned by personal delivery, postal mail or an authorized private delivery service—not by email or fax. For this election, the ballot must be postmarked by November 3 and received by the County Board by November 16.
Eligibility and ballot contents differ by status. The State says a special federal voter whose intent to return is uncertain receives federal contests, while a UOCAVA voter who intends to return receives the contests tied to the voter's New York address. The Rockland Edit does not determine an individual voter's category or whether an application has been received.

Do not use the translated candidate page as a ballot transcription
The County's Spanish Election Day page ↗ displays at least five candidate-name or office-label changes that do not appear on the County's English candidate list ↗:
- Lieutenant-governor candidate Todd Hood appears as “Capucha Todd.”
- State Senate candidate Bill Weber appears as “proyecto de ley weber.”
- Assembly candidate Patrick Carroll appears as “patricio carrol.”
- John M. Bonkoski and John Ciampoli appear with the first name “Juan.”
- The office label Village of Suffern Justice appears as “Aldea de Sufrir la Justicia.”

What the official Spanish flyer gets wrong
As of September 14, the Spanish PDF linked from the Rockland County Board of Elections page still contains two visibly printed errors. Near the top, its voter-registration heading refers to the 2025 general election. Near the bottom, it tells voters to go to their usual polling place on November 4.
The election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Do not wait until November 4. The Rockland County webpage and the New York State Board of Elections political calendar both give November 3 as Election Day. Neither source supports November 4.
The flyer's early-voting calendar and seven center addresses do match the County webpage. This article does not identify why the two other errors appeared, and the County page does not display a correction notice.

All nine windows below have ended. They are retained as the historical schedule behind this public-record review, not as current voting advice.
- Saturday, October 24: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Sunday, October 25: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Monday, October 26: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 27: noon–8 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 28: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Thursday, October 29: noon–8 p.m.
- Friday, October 30: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

During the early-voting period, any registered Rockland County voter could use any of the seven centers. On Election Day, voters must use their assigned polling site unless the Board of Elections has notified them of a temporary change.

- Pascack Community Center: 87 New Clarkstown Road, Nanuet.
- Orangetown Town Hall: 26 West Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg.
- Ramapo Town Hall: 237 Route 59, Suffern.
- Stony Point Kirkbride: 5 Patriot Hills Lane, Stony Point.
- Fire Training Center: 35 Fireman's Memorial Drive, Pomona.
- Haverstraw Town Hall: 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville.
Other deadlines worth saving
New York's calendar says a voter-registration application ↗ must be received by the Board of Elections by October 24. A change of address received by October 19 must be processed for the general election. An online or mailed early-mail or absentee-ballot request must be received by October 24; voters may use the state's online early-mail application ↗ or apply in person through November 2.
A mailed ballot must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10. A ballot delivered in person must reach the Board of Elections or a polling place by the close of polls on November 3.

The Spanish flyer says the early-voting centers comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Voting Rights Act. The County's early-voting webpage does not separately describe center-specific accessibility, parking, transit or language-assistance arrangements. Confirm what you need before traveling by calling the Rockland County Board of Elections at 845-638-5172 or emailing voterinfo@co.rockland.ny.us.
What changes for a resident: the ballot-request window has closed. Tuesday's remaining choices are voting from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the assigned poll site or returning a completed mail ballot by 9 p.m.; a mailed ballot needs a November 3 postmark and must arrive by November 10.
