Why the listing changed
The County’s September 2 announcement supplied the original date, hours, location and item rules. That notice and later County social posts remained online early Saturday. But the current Repair Café Hudson Valley Rockland page ↗ now has an empty “Upcoming Events” section, so the Sunday plan no longer meets The Rockland Edit’s standard for a verified event.
Nyack News & Views reports ↗ that the event was postponed because of the nor’easter and that a new date is to be determined. That is useful corroboration, but it does not supply a first-party replacement date.
What remains unresolved
No organizer or County page reviewed by The Rockland Edit states a new date, time or venue. The older announcement should not be read as proof that the event is still happening, and the absence of a current listing does not establish when it will return.
